Experience a live, immersive, multi-instrumental sound journey in the architecturally rich setting of Winterstoke Gardens. This unique performance activates the colonnaded sun shelter and clifftop landscape through resonant, acoustic sound, exploring the ways in which music and architecture can shape one another.
Crystal quartz bowls, gongs, drums, chimes, voice, and percussion weave together into a layered, harmonic soundscape that responds directly to the garden’s contours and atmosphere. Audiences are invited to sit, lie, or move through the space during the 40-minute meditative session, engaging with the sound in their own way.
Sound in Structure encourages deep listening and spatial awareness, offering a gentle reimagining of public space through sound, presence, and Ramsgate’s coastal heritage.
No experience is needed - this session is open to all.
Please avoid eating 2 hours before the session to allow your body to be in a rested state.
Cushioned mats and eye pillows are provided.
Please bring a warm blanket or sleeping bag, cushion, thick socks, and anything else you need to be comfortable and warm lying down on concrete or grass outdoors.
If it is sunny on the day please still bring warm layers as your body temperature drops throughout the session, and you will be in a shaded area.
Weather Notice:
In the event of bad weather, the sound bath will be cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice provided via email or text and your ticket will be refunded.
